Detail Itinerary
NEGOMABO – BENTOTA
Day 01
- Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport and proceed to Bentota. Approximately 2 hour drive.
BENTOTA – DENIYAYA – BENTOTA
Day 02
- Leave the hotel early in the morning and proceed to Sinharaja, the rainforest in Sri Lanka. Approximately 2 hour drive.
- A narrow road cuts through the heart of Sinharaja 50 square miles virgin forest, which is a haven for endemic flora & fauna which has a rain fall of 200 inches fall annually spread throughout the year.
- After the trek in Sinharaja return to Bentota for overnight stay.
Bentota – Udawalawe – Ella
Day 03
- After breakfast leave to Udawalawe for a Jeep safari. Approximately 2 hour drive.
- After the safari proceed to Ella for overnight stay. Approximately 1.5 hour drive.
Ella – Horton Plains – Kandy
Day 04
- Leave to Horton Plains early in the morning.
- Horton Plains is Sri Lanka’s highest and most isolated plateau is home to many species of birds. The famous world’s end, a sheer drop of 1,050 meters is in Horton Plains.
- Then proceed to Kandy. Approximately 2 hour drive.
Kandy – Sigiriya
Day 05
- After breakfast visit the famous temple of the tooth in Kandy.
- Then proceed to Sigiriya to climb the famous Sigiriya rock fortress.
- Overnight at Sigiriya.
Sigiriya – Minneriya – Sigiriya
Day 06
- After breakfast go on a Jeep Safari to Minneriya national park.
- In the afternoon a village safari and learn how to cook a Sri Lankan meal.
- Overnight at Sigiriya.
SIGIRIYA – ANURADHAPURA
Day 07
- After breakfast leave to Anuradhapura. Approximately 1.5 hour drive.
- Visit the ruins in the ancient city of Anuradhapura.
ANURADHAPURA – WILPATTU – NEGOMBO
Day 08
- After early breakfast leave for a Jeep safari in Wilpattu. Approximately 0.5 hour drive.
- After the safari leave to Negombo for overnight stay. Approximately 3.5 hour drive.
NEGOMBO
Day 09
- Relax in the beach.
NEGOMBO – AIRPORT
Day 10
- Transfer to the airport.
