Detail Itinerary
Negombo
Day 01
- Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to a hotel in Negombo to rest overnight.
NEGOMBO – SIGIRIYA
Day 02
- After breakfast leave to Sigiriya. Approximately 3.5 hour drive.
- After lunch hike Pidurangala to witness the sunset. Best place to capture the Rock fortress.
- Overnight in Sigiriya
SIGIRIYA – KANDY
Day 03
- An early morning climb to Sigiriya rock.
- Then leave to Kandy for overnight stay. Approximately 2 hour drive.
- Visit the Kandy temple after lunch.
KANDY – KNUCKLES
Day 04
- Leave the hotel early to trek a part of Knuckles mountain.
- Overnight in Kandy
KANDY– NUWARA ELIYA
Day 05
- After breakfast leave to Nuwara Eliya. Approximately 2 hour drive.
- On the way visit a working tea factory and the famous Ramboda falls.
- In the evening a stroll around the city of Nuwara ELiya.
NUWARA ELIYA– ELLA
Day 06
- An early morning hike to the Horton Plains national park
- Then go to Ella by train. Approximately 3 hour train ride.
- Overnight at Ella.
ELLA – YALA
Day 07
- An early morning hike to the Ella rock.
- Then visit the famous Nine Arch bridge.
- In the evening proceed to Yala for overnight stay. Approximately 2 hour drive.
YALA – WELIGAMA
Day 08
- An early morning Jeep safari to the Yala national park.
- In the evening proceed Weligama. Approximately 4 hour drive.
WELIGAMA
Day 09
- A drive to the harbor early in the morning for some whale and dolphin watching.
- relax in the beach.
WELIGAMA – GALLE – COLOMBO
Day 10
- After breakfast leave to Colombo.
- On the way visit the famous Galle fort and a turtle hatchery.
- Overnight at Colombo.
COLOMBO
Day 11
- A day around the city of Colombo.
COLOMBO – AIRPORT
Day 12
- Transfer to the airport.
