Detail Itinerary
Negombo
Day 01
- Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to a hotel in Negombo to rest overnight.
NEGOMBO – SIGIRIYA – KANDY
Day 02
- After breakfast leave to Sigiriya. Approximately 3.5 hour drive.
- Climb the famous rock fortress in the sky, Sigiriya.
- After lunch in Sigiriya proceed to Kandy.
KANDY
Day 03
- After breakfast you will be getting a tour to the famous temple of the tooth in Kandy.
- Then a walk around the Peradiniya botanical garden.
- After lunch relax in the hotel in Kandy.
KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA
Day 04
- After breakfast catch the train to Nuwara Eliya. Approximately 3 hour train drive.
- In Nuwara Eliya visit a tea factory and tea plantation.
NUWARA ELIYA
Day 05
- A hike to the Horton Plains early in the morning.
- Relax in the misty mountain in Nuwara Eliya.
NUWARA ELIYA – PINNAWALA – COLOMBO
Day 06
- After breakfast leave the hotel and proceed to Pinnawala to visit the elephant orphanage. Approximately 4 hour drive.
- Then leave to Colombo for overnight stay.
COLOMBO – GALLE – BENTOTA
Day 07
- After breakfast leave to Galle to visit the famous Galle fort. Approximately 2.5 hour drive.
- Then proceed to Bentota for overnight stay.
- Visit a turtle hatchery one the way.
BENTOTA
Day 08
- Relax in the Beach
BENTOTA – UDAWALAWE – BENTOTA
Day 09
- After early breakfast leave to Udawalawa for a jeep safari in the Udawalawa National park.
- Then Return to Bentota for overnight stay.
BENTOTA
Day 10
- Relax in the Beach
BENTOTA – NEGOMBO
Day 11
- Transfer to the airport. Approximately 3 hour drive.
