Detail Itinerary
NEGOMBO
Day 01
- Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to a hotel in Negombo to rest overnight.
NEGOMBO– WILPATTU – SIGIRIYA
Day 02
- After breakfast proceed to Wilpattu. Approximately 3 hour drive.
- Jeep safari in the Wilpattu National park.
- Proceed to Sigiriya for overnight stay.
SIGIRIYA – POLONNARUWA– SIGIRIYA
Day 03
- After breakfast at hotel proceed to Polonnaruwa. Approximately 1 hour drive.
- See ruins of ancient Ceylon - the UNESCO World Heritage City of Polonnaruwa.
- After lunch return to Sigiriya.
SIGIRIYA – DAMBULLA – KANDY
Day 04
- After breakfast leave to Kandy. Approximately 2 hour drive
- On the way visit one of the most unusual temples buried in a maze - the UNESCO Golden Cave Temple in Dambulla.
- In Kandy, you will be getting a tour around the Kandy lake and the famous temple of Tooth.
- Overnight stay in Kandy.
KANDY- PINNAWALA- COLOMBO
Day 05
- After breakfast leave to Pinnawala. Approximately 1.5 hour drive
- At visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, which houses the abandoned and the wounded elephants. Here you can watch them been fed and bathed.
- Then leave to Colombo for overnight stay. Approximately 1.5 hour drive
COLOMBO
Day 06
- After breakfast a city tour around Colombo.
COLOMBO– AIRPORT
Day 07
- Transfer to the airport. Approximately 45 minute drive
