Day 2 -
Rathnapura / Sinharaja After breakfast leave for Singharaja Forest,
“Sri Lanka's remaining rainforest. A narrow road cuts through the heart of its 50 square miles virgin forest, which is a haven for endemic flora & fauna which has a rain fall of 200 inches fall annually spread throughout the year.”

Day 3 -
Singharaja / Udawalawe / Embilipitiya After early breakfast leave for Udawalawe for a half a day safari
One could sight Elephant, spotted deer, jackal, mongoose and several species of birds could be sighted very frequently.
Dinner and over night at Embilipitiya.
After early breakfast leave for Yala for a half a day safari.

After breakfast leave for Nuwra Eliya. City tour and leisure at Nuwara Eliya.

Early breakfast and leave for Horton Plains.
“Horton Plains is Sri Lanka's highest and most isolated plateau is home to many species of birds. The famous world's end, a sheer drop of 1,050 meters is in Horton Plains.”

After breakfast leave for Kandy - en route visit a Tea Factory to view tea production. City tour of Kandy.
“Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, which fell to the British in 1815. This hill capital is situated in a valley 1600 feet above sea level, surrounded by mountains & virtually encircled by the scenic Mahaweli river; the longest in Sri Lanka. Due to it’s Its cultural and religious significance UNESCO designated the Sacred City of Kandy as a World Heritage Site in 1988.”

Day 8 -
Kandy / GiritaleAfter breakfast leave to visit Sigiriya rock fortress.
”Sigiriya the lion rock is more than just a fortress which rises 600ft from the shrub jungle surrounding it. This famous rock fortress was built in the 5th Century AD by King Kashyapa”.
Dinner and over night stay at Giritale.
After breakfast, leave for Colombo en route visiting Pinnawala.
”The Elephant Orphanage located in Kegalle approx 80km from Colombo. This orphanage was established to give shelter to elephants who are displaced from their natural habitats.”
