If time permits visit Richmond Castle and the Kaluthara temple. Rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast leave to visit the Madu river and a Turtle farm.
“Madu river consists of 50 small islands and it is famous for cinnoman cultivation. Cinnoman is a very popular spice in Sri Lanka. The boat ride will take you to few islands where you will visit an ancient temple, a remote village and cinnoman cultivations. The boat ride would take approx 2hrs.”

After breakfast leave for Kandy and visit the Kandy temple.

This hill capital is situated in a valley 1600 feet above sea level, surrounded by mountains & virtually encircled by the scenic Mahaweli river; the longest in Sri Lanka. After breakfast visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and observe a cultural dance in the evening.

After breakfast leave for Galle. Visit the Galle Fort and the Museum.
“The earliest recorded history of the city dates back to the year 545 AD, to the chronicles of the Roman historian, Cosmas. From then on records are very sparse - until the landing of the famous Arab navigator Ibn Batuta. Over the next 100 years, the city was the chief port of the island, for it attracted spice traders.The Portuguese came to Galle in 1505, followed by the Dutch in 1640. When the British came in 1796, the fort was handed over & used as an administrative center, a function which it performs to this day.
