"Mandalay – Accommodation"
The villa consisting of three double rooms is built to a fully open concept, appreciating nature and solitude. The rooms are spacious, simple yet charming and is furnished with antiques. The rooms are not air-conditioned but has ceiling fans and plenty fresh breeze to keep you cool. The master bedroom, which consists of the entire second storey, has a bathtub in the room but also has an open air bathroom adjoining the room. The balcony opening up to the master bedroom gives great views of the lake and the surrounding greenery. Once in a while you can spot a train on the hanging railway across the river.
The villa will consist of a room boy, a cook and a night watcher.
Note that the cook is not a professional chef and will only be able to put together a simple meal for you. You can be the master/mistress of your own kitchen or dine out or settle for some simple dishes, which the cook will be able to prepare. My advice is for you to try some local delicacies, which the cook would probably be better at.
Dining and common areas
You can dine in the open dining area overlooking the lake. There are many places in the villa where you can enjoy a drink or simply relax and enjoy the views. Have a swim in your own private pool or enjoy the sunset and a boat ride in the lake.
