Boulder Garden - Accommodation
The hotel consists of 10 suites arranged in 4 rising tiers, linked by winding stone steps and deep corridors. The opulently appointed rooms are furnished in traditional style plus all modern comforts. The rooms are equipped with humidity fires, so that you enjoy the rain forest in its natural surrounding without air-conditioning.
The en-suite bathrooms are indeed a treat!
The 10 suites, consisting of 2 natural caves and a 1 split level Family room and other 7 suites with twin bedded and double bedded suites have private Balconies and terraces from which the magnificent evergreen patch can be viewed.
Dining and common areas
Dining in the open-air restaurant built connecting a large natural boulder, is an experience in itself. The magnificent views of the surrounding forest and the pool and the hum of birds will leave you with a treat to remember. The food at Boulder Garden has received great reviews and serves wonderful international cuisines as well as traditional style meals.
The spring water swimming pool nestled beneath the trees is simply marvelous. You can relax with a book or sip a sundowner with views of the pool and the jungle in the little reading area.
You can find many spots in the hotel to simply enjoy the surrounding and engage in some bird watching.

The main attraction of Boulder Garden is of course the close by Sinharaja virgin rain forest. Boulder Garden is located in a perfect spot for bird and butterfly watching with trails in the surroundings. Engage in a kayaking trip in Wewa ganga or Kukule ganga Take the challenge of experiencing the jungles through mountain biking. The hotel has chosen bicycling routes that are rich in wild life, scenically diverse, tranquil and exciting.
