"Barberyn Beach "
Barberyn beach ayurveda resort is located on the southernmost tip of Sri
Lanka in Weligama which is approximately 4 ½ hours from the Katunayake
International airport. The resort is built on a small hillock gradually
sloping towards the beach giving you a breath taking view of the blue ocean.
Visitors to the resort approach the zenith of the site which slopes down
to the beach flanked by two beautiful verdant valleys on the east and west.
There is a secluded beach at the eastern valley and on the west you can
observe activities such as slit fishing. The beach is perfect for an evening
walk or jog.
The unspoiled coastline makes you feel as a place where life slows down to allow you to absorb what nature bestowed.
The still and moving water attracts local birds and beautiful butterflies and is designed to be a reservoir for the garden.
On the left side of the resort is red cliff bay, where you can swim at times depending on the tide. On the right side is the Palm Beach where you can walk & jog.
