While Ayurveda does not hesitate to use surgery, and other intensive treatments when mild interventions fail to produce results, it concentrates first on making simple changes in diet and behavior, for simple alterations are sometimes sufficient to produce big results. We will also concentrate on simple measures here.
Although all Ayurvedic treatment is (ideally) carefully tailored to the individual and, being health-based, Ayurveda does not prescribe the same treatment for everyone who has the same symptoms, there are many suggestions which are generally good for anyone who wants to improve the ’state’ of a particular dosha.

Why focus on trying either to ‘diagnose’ or ‘cure’ Monthly Dysfunction Syndrome, when realigning your state may make that state simply disappear? As it is, none of the current conventional treatments for Monthly Dysfunction Syndrome work any better than a placebo does, and several studies have shown that placebos can work very well. Better still to have a placebo that realigns and re balances the body while removing the illness, which is what Ayurveda proposes.

Subsequent to the successful tourism promotions in France and The Netherlands, Sri Lanka Tourism had further good news in the German and The UK markets. The travel advisory in Germany was reviewed by the authorities. The earlier advice against travelling to Sri Lanka if not essential has been deleted from the text of the German travel advisory. According to Channa Jayasinghe, the Director of the Tourist Board Office in Germany, this would definitely be most encouraging to the tour operators and travel agents selling Sri Lanka, as the earlier advisory led to confusion and was negatively interpreted by the public. After the FCO’s meeting in the UK, the Sri Lanka Tourist Board’s concerns were shared through the Pacific Asia Travel Association’s (PATA) UK Chapter, Association of National Tourist Office Representatives (ANTOR) and Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). The FCO has further softened their travel advisory to Sri Lanka. The advisory has been reviewed and reissued with an amendment to the Summary and local travel section, where it now states we no longer advice against travel to the city of Anuradhupura, said Jean-Marc Flambert, Director UK & Ireland of the Tourist Board.
